10 Ways To Measure IT Security Program Effectiveness

I have always been a big fan of metrics and I believe the that metrics outlined in this article are of particular importance when evaluating the effectiveness of an IT Security program.  I would specifically highlight the idea of measuring project effectiveness (on time and on budget).  We sometimes lose sight of the value of strong project management in IT security, but sound management of time and money is key to the development of a successful program.
