I am a strong proponent of security awareness training. I do not think the argument is a matter of whether or not we train. I believe the focus should be on when we train and how. We need to start the conversation much earlier (think elementary, middle and high school students). And we need to be much more creative in our training approaches, finding new ways to make the conversation less corporate and much more personal. People care about their personal information. They want to be safe and they hate being fooled and cheated. Make training an extension of that passion and you will be successful.
