The timeline for breaches like Anthem always seem to get worse rather than better, meaning the time from compromise to discovery is almost always longer than originally suspected. Efforts need to be made by most organizations to get better at detection and prevention. This means more thorough log monitoring, perimeter filtering and more overall resources.
