This is an excellent discussion of the value of security end user education despite the arguments made by several in the IT Security industry that claim it has no value. I agree with the author of this article that education certainly matters and can be effective when administered properly. Frankly I believe any argument to the contrary is framed by the defeatist attitude of someone not willing to invest the time and energy to be effective in the task. Education can be very hard but it can also be very successful. Don’t give up!
